If the following apply to you then this is a ‘Do not miss!’ event. Please note that all BSUPA members are welcome and encouraged to attend:
- Needing to revalidate their BSUPA Instructor’s qualification before the start of the 2024 summer season?
- Wanting to meet the BSUPA team and other Instructors/School Principals?
- Keen to participate and learn – or needing to get on the Conversion pathway from WSA?
Event Schedule
We have a great line up of interesting speakers in the morning and then in the afternoon you can participate in our ‘micro paddle sessions,’ to either revalidate your current BSUPA Instructor certificate in a ‘Revalidation Paddle’ – or for WSA Instructors, get onto the Conversion pathway to become part of the BSUPA family in a ‘Conversion Paddle’. There is an ‘Instructor Hacks’ paddle for those not needing to revalidate or convert. Then we will finish the day with our Annual General Meeting AGM, to which all members are invited. Any resolutions proposed by Members for consideration at the AGM or any nominations by Members of candidates for election to the Board must be received by us not less than 7 clear days before the conference date. Thank you.
The AGM Resolutions
In addition to the described event schedule the following resolutions set out below will be proposed as ordinary resolutions:
Update the membership on the progress of the Association since the AGM
- A report of progress since the 2016 AGM in summary will be circulated.
Update on the new BSUPA strategy
- An overview of the next 1 to 3 years’ goals and targets will be given.
- Accounts; a summary and overview of accounts and financial position.

Any other business & submission of resolutions
It may be the case that you wish to submit resolutions for consideration. Please submit any formal resolutions for consideration at the Annual General Meeting or any nominations by members of candidates for election to the Board in writing to the Association no less than 20 days before the date published.
