SoBO SUP Event – Southbourne, Bournemouth
On Sunday the 14th August 2016 at Southbourne Life Saving club is running a race and fun event at Southbourne Beach, Bournemouth. The event takes place between 0830-1300 hrs and consists of a range of fleets and taster session that will encourage everyone to get involved.
Rampion Offshore Wind Farm

Offshore piling of the Rampion wind farm, off the Sussex coast is due to recommence on 1st July (weather permitting) and the purpose of this communication is to raise awareness of the Project and associated construction activities once again, and re-communicate the potential risks to the diving community.
Alpine Elements SUP Instructor Needed
Alpine Elements are currently recruiting for a qualified SUP Instructor. You maybe recently qualified instructor and interested in spending your summer months in the French Alps. We are looking for a Qualified SUP instructor to take groups of 8 on short SUP introduction taster sessions within our Summer Alpine Activity Programme.
Clacton Sea & Beach Festival 25/26 June 2016
There will be a BSUPA sactioned stand up paddle boarding event at this year’s National
Watersports Championships in Clacton on Sea. Being the 2nd year of the festival there is huge anticipation for another fantastic event at this east coast town.
Blind adventurer completes the Argyll Sea Kayak Trail Challenge
At around 6am on Thursday the 12th of May, three adventurers set off to paddle the full 150km of the Argyll Sea Kayak Trail which spans the coastline of Argyll and Bute.
2016 Legend of the Bay Competition
‘There can be only one’, has always been the tag line for this unique competition.
Hosted by the Extreme Academy, Watergate Bay. Legend of the Bay is a one day kite & one day SUP Surf competition. Individuals proficient in both kitesurfing and stand up paddleboard compete head to head, for the title. With both Dom Moore and Josh Coombe, last year’s joint winners not able to compete this year, a new Legend of the Bay would be crowning this year.

TEAM GB SELECTION FOR ISA 2016 Worlds
We are please to announce the TEAM GB 2016 TEAM selection for the ISA World Sup, Prone, and team worlds for 2016 –this year for the first time prone was included in the the selction events and now TEAM GB can send a full team including prone riders which should have a positive effect on the teams results results.
