BSUPA recognise the findings of the MAIB report (Dec 2022) on the fatal incident at Haverfordwest October 2021, and support their recommendations. 

We sympathise with the families of everyone involved with this incident. BSUPA have cooperated with the MAIB during the investigation, and shared information on our safety practices. 

BSUPA continue to work with the relevant bodies now and in future, to develop and strengthen SUP safety in the UK. 

Through our network of over 100 BSUPA Schools, we will continue to prioritise safety messaging for all participants of SUP activities.
