The first of its kind, the surf lifesaving core are hosting a Sidmouth stand up paddle boarding and ocean ski event.

There are two main parts to this:

• A long distance Ocean Ski and Stand up paddle Board challenge
• An inshore junior paddle board paddle series of races. All sprint races for ages 9-18 yrs.

The event will take place from 12 noon until 4pm at the west end of Sidmouth and Clifton and the event is expected to have a solid attendance. Typically at peak times in summer months, Sidmouth expectes up to 300 beach users and 100 users at peak time. Add to that competition entrants and it portends a huge event.
