SUP Club Championships Results

The British SUP Club Championships now in it’s 4th year was the biggest yet. 11 clubs and 190 competitors hit the waters of Bray Lake to compete in everything from a 6km distance race, technical races, Novice racing as well as sprints and team events to see who would come out as the UK’s top club.

It was hard fort battle between all the clubs with a fantastic atmosphere and some great camaraderie. BaySUP managed to win the Overall, beating the hosts Bray Lake into Second and holders Waterborn into third.

the Juniors contested three main races as well as SUP polo. The 40 strong junior field is the biggest we’ve ever seen in UK competition and the recently formed BaySUP Junior team took the honours just squeezing out a smaller but highly capable team from Jersey again with Bray Lake in third place.

Massive thanks to all those who volunteered and supported the event, it was huge amount of fun and looking forward to next year.

Big thanks also to Suunto, Palm Equipment as well as Fanatic, Starboard and Red Paddle co for their continues support of this event.
