BSUPA’s Simon Bassett and Andy Gratwick have been working with the RNLI and other national bodies to develop a safety leaflet for people thinking of stand up paddle surfing. You will be seeing this leaflet at shops, beaches and activity centres all over the UK, but it is also available here.

If you go out into the surf you need to read this, especially the sections about etiquette in the lineup and wave priority.
