In 2006 Simon was one of the 10 first stand up paddle board surfers in the UK and he started teaching SUP at the first SUP school on the South coast. Simon has been passionately involved in watersports tuition namely windsurf tuition and coaching since the age of 16 and has developed his skills in the UK and abroad. He runs a successful SUP school on West Wittering beach, runs a successful retail shop and is the chairman of BSUPA, head trainer and continues to develop the BSUPA coaching scheme. Simon also works closely with AALS, ROSPA, the RNLI to promote the safety of SUP and he contributes to various SUP magazines and blogs with his stories, expertise and passion for stand up paddle boarding. Most recently Simon brought SUP team GB to the ISA World Championships in Mexico in May 2015 as the head coach and he dedicates his spare time (what’s left of it!) to promote the sport and its safety through BSUPA.
Andy Gratwick – JOINT HEAD COACH
