Paddle Round Brownsea Island For individuals who would like to paddle round the island, but don't wish to enter the competitive race, or feel like having a more social paddle with friend BSUPA and Animal Windfest will be stage a mass paddle around Brownsea in the afternoon. We would like stress this is not a race. Therefore the slower paddlers will lead the fleet following a safety boat. Paddlers will come together at the top of the island and then proceed down the and around the back of the island. At this point all paddlers must wait until instructed to cross the shipping lane under escort from Poole Harbour Patrol.

The aim is to get everyone to finish around about the side time so we can create a good photo opportunity to promo the spirit of Animal Windfest.

There will be a small charge for all that enter the mass paddle round the island of £10.00 half of which is going to Animal Windfest Charities & RNLI. Competitors from the BSUPA Race in the morning will not be charged should they wish part in the mass paddle.

There will be a few demo boards available to use on the afternoon paddle round the island, kindly supported by Easy Riders. However it is lightly demand will be high for these boards, so we would suggest bringing your own board and paddle for use in this activity.

Animal Windfest/BSUPA SUP Sprint Racing Sunday will see the Animal Windfest SUP Sprints. Throughout the day a series of sprint races culminating with the final in the afternoon. This will be taking place in front of the main Animal Beach Activities area. This is open to everyone and we encourage as many people to come along and enter. Entry is free courtesy of www.standuppaddlesurf.co.uk and the Bay SUP Club.
What's involved? Simple! Run down the beach grab your board and paddle out to the marker bouy. Turn round the bouy and paddle as fast as you can back to the beach, and run up to the finish line. First two from each heat proceed to the next. Fast and exciting for all involved and great viewing for spectators on the beach.
Don't worry if you don't have a board we will have a few spare boards available. So just come along and get involved, and find out why paddleboarding is such a great activity to get involved with.

Try Out Paddleboard Sessions. Throughout the weekend BSUPA & Easy Riders will be offering free have a go paddleboard sessions in the habour. Places are limited so it will be on a first comes bases, but we hope to get as many people on the water as possible during the weekend.
