Windfest Poole
Two days to go until the start of this year Poole Windfest. Weather looks interesting but hopefully we will get the opportunity to complete all races and competitions. Although we might have to move times and or locations around to make the best of the weather, please be aware and respect that these decision are done with safety in mind first and foremost.
Notice of Race/Registration. Saturday Registration will take place on the boardwalk outside the FC Watersports tent (look for BSUPA flag) between 9 – 10am. If you are wishing to enter on the day please not we can only take payment via cash or cheque. We would also ask that you bring along your BSUPA membership card.
Sunday Registration will take place on beach under the BAYSUP tent between (9.00 – 10.30am)
SUP Yoga I would like to thank Zoe Lee & Jason Bergin who will be demonstrating SUP Yoga over the weekend and also offering to run competitors through a light yoga warm up prior the start of competitions and events
Though vastly different practices SUP and Yoga have a lot in common. Both with an emphasis on breath, balance and core strength the two disciplines encourage good posture and a calm mind.
The act of paddling itself builds strength in the upper arms and abdominal muscles. The repetitive motion of each stroke in concert with steady even breathing creates a rhythm of flow that blends perfectly with yoga.

Additional Car Parking Windfest is a huge logistical event to organize and many of us know how interesting car parking can be. So I am please to inform you that Gary has managed to secure some addition parking close to the main site.
These are private car park and not managed or operated by Windfest. There is a change of £10 per day and comes on a first come first served basis.
N.B We would suggest that if you cannot park in the main car park that you drop of your boards and then go and park.
