Windfest Poole
Two days to go until the start of this year Poole Windfest. Weather looks interesting but hopefully we will get the opportunity to complete all races and competitions. Although we might have to move times and or locations around to make the best of the weather, please be aware and respect that these decision are done with safety in mind first and foremost.
Notice of Race/Registration. Saturday Registration will take place on the boardwalk outside the FC Watersports tent (look for BSUPA flag) between 9 – 10am. If you are wishing to enter on the day please not we can only take payment via cash or cheque. We would also ask that you bring along your BSUPA membership card.
Sunday Registration will take place on beach under the BAYSUP tent between (9.00 – 10.30am)
The Countdown Has Started.
With a little over 24hrs hours till the start of this year Extreme Academy/BSUPA 2010 Series Finals this coming weekend, I'm please to report every thing is in place and all is set for a great weekend of competition. The surf forecast is showing 2-3ft swell and light off shores.
Registration is open from 8am to 9am on the deck of the Beach Hut, with a first possible start at 10am.
Jamie Lawson Plays The Phoenix
Hi Guys, I’m pleased to announce that the very nice people at The Phoenix – Watergate Bay are laying on live music to add to favour and feel of our weekend of competition and celebrations.
Local singer & songwriter Jamie Lawson, will be playing a live acoustic on Saturday night.
Extreme Academy/BUSPA 2010 Series Finals, Watergate Bay.
With less than a month I am pleased to announce all things are in place for this years, and ready for the final SUP show down of the year, to be held at Watergate Bay.
With no wave competitions to date this year, Watergate Bay will see the best Wave paddleboards going all out for fame and glory and a chance to become 2010 BSUPA National Wave Champion. Like wise the distance is by no means over yet, and an open sea distance race will surely make the winner a worthy champion.
