Joe Way Paddle for Life 2009
It’s almost time for the Joe Way Paddle for Life 2009, and SAS is currently recruiting supporters to get involved and help raise some vital funds for our campaigns. The Paddle for Life event is organised by The Joe Way Appeal, and we’re looking for willing participants to take part in the 1km sponsored paddle, or the 200m fancy dress fun paddle, during the evening of the 3rd September in Newquay, Cornwall.
Entry for the event is free and you only need to raise a minimum of £25 sponsorship money for SAS. You can enter individually or as a team, using craft such as surfboard, bodyboards, canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (anything goes for the fun paddle!). SAS is stoked to be involved and we’re hoping lots of supporters will join us – it looks like it should be a great event based on last year’s pictures!
Pro surfer Sarah Bentley is already on board – contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
