BSUPA West Wittering Event Results 2010

The first race event in the 2010 series was held at West Wittering beach on 15th May 2010. The race was a 12km down winder and down tide course into Chichester Harbour from West Wittering to Dell Quay.
BSUPA Roadford Lake, Devon Event Results 2010

The second race event in the 2010 series was held at Roadford Lake, Devon on 29th May 2010. The race was a 5km course with both and upwind and downwind section.
BSUPA First Instructors Course
Held at X-train, West Wittering on March 22nd and 23rd, the UKs first SUP instructors course was headed up by Simon Bassett BSUPA head coach, Andy Gratwick expert Instructor Trainer and BKSA head Coach, Chris Rea Cornish Surf school owner and Lifeguard trainer and BSUPA chairman Matt Argyle. The coaching team have spent the last eight months putting together the scheme which has been from scratch. To make this work we also had to find and negotiate a new insurance policy for BSUPA, create an instructors manual, certificates and develope the next phase of the scheme the surf section which will follow later this season.
BSUPA Event 1 - 2010 - West Wittering
The first BSUPA event from the 2010 series will be at West WIttering beach on May 15th and 16th. Full details will be released shortly, including the new rules for 2010 (the only major difference is the addition of an open board category to allow all of you with 12ft 6" plus boards to race).
SUPstock - a festival of Paddling
BSUPA in association with Sunset Surf in Gwithian proudly present a festival of SUP on 17th & 18th July.
BSUPA have been keen to hold a fun festival weekend for all levels of Stand Up Paddlers. There are no set races or surf comps its just a gathering of paddlers. There will be demo boards available, plus on water coaching by BSUPA coaches & instructors. Plus Dry land paddle clinics etc.
Saturday evening sees a band & a BBQ at the Sunset cafe. This is the first festival of SUP so come along & join in the spirit on what has to be one of the UK's most stunning beaches. There is no charge for the water based activity & it really is for every level of SUPer, - its a weekend to spread the stoke in a competition free environment.
