BSUPA's committee members work on a voluntary bases offering their range of skills for the good of Stand Up Paddling

Matt Argyle: Chairman
BSUPA 2009 Series 2nd placed surfer and racer.  Also runs SUPGlobal.com website and writes for various online and paper based SUP publications. A stand up paddler since 2006 and a surfer for over 20 years, both long board and short board and a windsurfing instructor.

Claire Blacklock: Treasurer, Memberships & Web Admin
BSUPA 2008 Ladies Champion in Surfing and Distance.

Simon Bassett: Director of training & coaching
Simon has been involved in SUP from the start and was one of he first SUP riders on the south coast in 06 and opened one of the first SUP schools and started retailing SUPs from his on line store.

Simon also has been teaching plenty of journalists to paddle surf this included a slot on BBC last summer with one of the news presenters. Simon is involved in the waterspouts business for his paid job which includes a online store, a windsurf kite and sup school as well as sup distribution and other products.

And when hes not doing this he write the odd article for one of the SUP mags as well getting some action on the water whenever the conditions are good

Jock Patterson: BSUPA 2009 Champion and Committee Member
Jock won the 2009 series for both SUP surfing and racing and has now bought his huge experience in the surf industry to the committee.  He was voted in at the 2010 AGM.
