Just over 2 weeks until the year’s biggest SUP event takes place once again at stunning Bewl Water – so get your tickets now for the 2017 Neilson SUP Armada Festival on 21-23 July 2017!
BSUPA are once again supporting this fantastic festival, now over a long weekend, and we hope to see as many of you down there as possible. Of course we want to break the Guinness World Record again, and will need over 400 SUP boarders to do that – and there is so much more going on this year including taster sessions, SUP yoga, team races, junior races, development clinics, dragon board races and demo’s.
Bewl Water Venue
Camping, glamping and hostel accommodation are all available on site and can be booked at the website. Come down with the family on the Friday and make a long weekend of it – there is live music Saturday night, great food and drink all weekend, awesome kids play areas and all the best SUP brands exhibiting in the SUP village by the lake. Neilson will once again be giving away a week’s holiday at one of their top Beach Club’s to one lucky participant drawn at the event!
Tickets are only £20 adults / £15 juniors and include all the SUP activities over the whole weekend (excl Euro Tour Race see below)
Euro Tour Race and Euro Tour Charity Challenge
Also for the first time at the SUP Armada, on the Saturday the festival is hosting the prestigious Euro Tour Race (12km / 2 laps of Bewl Water) and Euro Tour Charity Challenge (6km / 1 lap of Bewl Water) meaning you can race alongside some of the best SUP boarders in the UK and abroad. Tickets are £50 and are separate to the SUP Armada as there is 3,500 Euros prize money up for grabs! But your ticket does include your entry into all the other SUP Armada activities over the whole weekend as well. What’s more, if you enter the Charity Challenge and hit your fundraising target (£150) you get your ticket price refunded as you will helping raise funds for the Armada Trust’s work. (including funding the grassroots of the sport through the Kite & SUP Youth Tour)
